Facilities Availave at Baroda Neuro Surgical Hospital

1. State of art, Radio frequency Lesion Generator (RFLG) FIRST OF ITS KIND IN GUJARAT STATE - used to make thermal lesion (Trigeminal Rhizotomy) in cases of Trigeminal Neuralgia. I have successfully operated upon two hundred and fifty such patients over last ten year. At present ours is the sloe unit possessing this unique facility coupled with technical expertise for this complex clinical problem.

2. First in Baroda city in a private set up, I now have ultra modern CARL ZEISS OPERATING MICROSCOPE from GERMANY, which is the heart of any modern operating room in the neuron surgical setup. This is further equipped with Bipolar Cautery (L&T 400), Pneumatic craniotom - 3M, U.S.A. stationed in my major operations theater. I also have one extra minor O.T. and a resection room for emergence of the need patients.

3. I am now in better position to treat critically ill neurosurgical patients in Six bedded I.C.U. with following facilities.
   
   

   • SIEMEN'S 900E VENTILATOR with all the required parameters for ventilatory care.
     

   • Central Oxygen System & Central Suction System.
     
   • Comptometer - CO₂ Monitor devise, along with pulse oxymeter.
     
   • 24 hrs. Resident doctors.
     
   • To add to aforementioned facilities, we also have.
     
   • NEONATAL ICU with Incubator and Photography unit.
     
   • Ten special rooms with all necessary facilities.
     
   • In house laboratory and X ray services round the clock.
