I had started private practice in city Vadodara, since last 16 yrs., Since last 16 yrs I am attached at following major general hospitals of city-Vadodara

In 1993, I developed my own hospital "Baroda Neurosurgical Hospital". This is a 16-bedded neuro-surgical hospital with 6-bedded ICU with central monitoring system including ECG, NIBP, SiO2, PCo2 measurement. ICU is also equipped with 3 ventilators-

  1. Bird's ventilator pressure driven,
  2. Siemens Ventilator -900 E (USA),
  3. Bi-pep ventilator of Respironics company (USA).

I have got round the clock resident doctor and fully trained nursing staff. My neurosurgical operation theater is equipped with Carl-Zeiss operating microscope-MDU., 3 M craniotome, bipolar cautery, and micro-neuro-surgical instruments.
Here I attend all types of head injuries, poly-trauma, Brain tumors, aneurysm,AV malformation and spinal cord pathology including disc surgery-cervical and lumber. I have also radiofrequency generator, with which I perform thermocoagulation of gasserian ganglion in a case of Trigeminal neuralgia have performed more then 250 cases of Trigeminal neuralgia in last 10 yrs. I operate nearly 150 major surgeries per year since last 16 yrs.



RESEARCH, AUDIT & TEACHING
Publication & presentation :-
  1. Published a paper on "Symptomatic psoriatic cervical spondylitis with irreducible Atalanto-axial subluxation", in a journal of postgraduate medicine (1988) 34 (3) 176-179.
  2. Presented a poster paper and was awarded a prize for the paper on "Hydatid disease of Central Nervous system" in 38th National neurology conference, at Chandigarh in yr.1988.
